Here's the new video from Michael Buble. I'm not a huge fan, but I'm starting to like this guy's music more, and more.

Update on Thompson Library

There is a lot of news to share, but I'll start with this;

Via Liz Alcalde, Director of Comm of SBS at The Ohio State University:

"The three-year renovation, which began with the closing of Thompson in September 2006, is on schedule (and on budget...). The Library will take back possession of the building from the construction managers on May 1. A "soft" opening of the Thompson Library is planned for mid-August. Plans are being developed now for dedication events during Welcome Week 2009 to officially re-open the Thompson Library for business.

There will also be changes at other library locations as we return to Thompson. The Business Library, located in Mason Hall in the Fisher College of Business, will be closed, with its resources and staff moved to the Thompson Library. The Theatre Research Institute, currently at Lincoln Tower, will also be moving into Thompson, as will the Rare Books and Manuscripts Library presently operating from the Book Depository. All of these moves are scheduled to be concluded during the summer.

The library in Sullivant Hall, set up as a central campus replacement for Thompson over the past three years, will be closing. However, the Music and Dance Library located in Sullivant Hall will remain open. The Ackerman Library, also set up as a temporary facility, will close to the public, with the collections it houses being moved back to the Thompson Library. Some of the Libraries technical operations and staff will remain at the Ackerman facility until 2010, when they will be relocated.
